Tips for the Best Results
Tips for the best results with your pasta attachment for WunderCentix
- Perfect dough consistency: Make sure the dough isn’t too sticky or too dry. Add a little water or flour if necessary.
- Prepare the dough: Roll out the dough evenly before feeding it into the pasta maker, working from the thickest to the thinnest setting.
- Drying the pasta properly: After cutting, place the pasta on a cloth or a pasta rack to prevent it from sticking together. This keeps it loose and fluffy when cooked. Fresh pasta can be stored in an airtight container in a dry, cool, and dark place and should be used within 3 days.
- Cleaning: Remove dough residue only with the included brush and avoid using water to ensure a long shelf life.
- Note the cooking times: Spaghetti takes 1–2 minutes, fettuccine about 2 minutes, and ravioli 5–7 minutes.
